Do you feel overloaded with information when you start to think about training for your goal race? How long? Should I do workouts? How many miles? Phew … running is more than just putting one foot in front of the other - but let me do the research and all you have to do is lace up your shoes and execute and enjoy!
Everyone has different schedules, running abilities, and running goals - so you need an individualized plan to meet your specific needs. BUT run coaching is so much more than the initial customized training plan - it is working together and communicating weekly. Throughout your training block we will make changes to workout paces, work through plateaus together, and figure out schedule mishaps! Run coaching is having someone with you every step of the way as you work towards your big goals.
It is also really important to me to make you an efficient runner! Before I had children I would just run a lot to train for a marathon - the more miles the better. BUT now I need to be more efficient with my time and all of my runs have a purpose! We are all busy people wearing a lot of hats, so as your run coach I will work with your busy schedule, and each run of your plan will be a stepping stone towards your big goal.
As your coach, my goal is to support you as you chase after your big running goals, AND also support you through big life changes. As a mother to three young kiddos, I love to help mothers figure out what running looks like after kids AND I love to help people who have taken years off from exercise find the time again and feel energized and motivated!
As your coach I will hold you accountable (because consistency pays off), but I will also be your biggest cheerleader!
